Day 1- Delhi to Katra 

We will depart from Delhi early in the morning around 5 am and begin our journey from Katra. Katra is a base camp to reach Vaishno Devi Temple. It is a journey of around 11-12 hours. We will stop at Murthal for breakfast, Ludhiana for Lunch and Pathankot for evening snacks. After reaching Katra in the evening, you will check in at the hotel and relax. 

Delhi to Katra by Car Time- From Delhi to reach Katra, it will take 12-13 hours by car. The time can extend if there is traffic, and stops for meals. The distance between Delhi to Katra is nearly 650 kms. 

Day 2- Katra to Vaishno Devi Bhawan

We will start our 13 km trek to Vaishno Devi. There are three routes to reach Vaishno Devi but we will choose the easiest route which starts at Darshani Darwaza and goes through Ban Ganga and Charan Paduka. The road is wider and easier to walk. No ponies are allowed on this route. After reaching Bhawan, we will get darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. You can take part in the evening Aarti. After darshan you can also visit Bhairon Ghati which is situated a few km away from the temple but it is left to one’s choice. After the outing we will stay in hotels near Bhawan at night for rest. 

Day 3- Return to Katra 

We will return to Katra at noon. After reaching, we will take a rest at the hotel. After some time we will start exploring nearby markets and places like Ranbireshwar Temple and Dera Baba Banda. Later we will rest at the hotel for the night.

Day 4- Katra to Delhi 

 We will begin our journey to Delhi from Katra early in the morning after breakfast and reach by the evening. We will stop for meals along the way during our journey. After reaching, our driver will drop you off at the airport or station and your Vaishno Devi Temple Tour ends on a happy note.
